About the Carbon Management Association

Founding date: August 2024

The Carbon Management Association is dedicated to the use of CCX technologies and the establishment of a future-proof CO₂ infrastructure. As a system association, it promotes innovation along the entire value chain and drives the development of sustainable solutions forward. The goal is to make carbon management a successful economic model. To this end, the association advocates for investment security, market-oriented funding at EU, federal, and state levels, as well as effective deregulation. The main focus areas are CCU, CCS, infrastructure, social acceptance, as well as investment and financing. With CCX, the Carbon Management Association shapes the future by establishing CO₂ as an integral part of the circular economy and advancing climate protection through technological innovation. The association maintains an open and active dialogue with politics, ministries, media, science, and society to achieve sustainable progress together.
